mediainfo-gui software package provides graphical utility for reading information from audio/video files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mediainfo-gui
mediainfo-gui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mediainfo-gui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mediainfo-gui *
You will get with mediainfo-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
